This summer, we wanted to get out into nature and try some summer activities that get the adrenaline pumping. One of our favorites this summer was an off-road trip in our home state of Wisconsin.
We made the drive from Milwaukee up to Warrens, Wisconsin to ride on what are considered to be some of the best trails in the state. As part of Polaris Adventures, a premium network of Outfitters nationwide, we got to adventure like a local with a ride and drive adventure at Bear Bogging. Checking out the latest Polaris RZR, we thoroughly covered ourselves and our vehicle in the mud! These machines are so much fun, plus they look and sound awesome, and definitely get the heart rate going!
It’s as easy as driving a car, and we buckled up to explore an extensive 235+ mile trail system in Black River State Forest. After three days, we put on almost 300 miles on our RZR as we cruised through all kinds of terrain like winding tree-lined trails to sandy stretches to mud-filled tracks. It was a fun way to get out into nature, and the best part was our local outfitter Bear Bogging showed us all kinds of trails that we had nearly to ourselves all weekend long.
We called Three Bears Resort home during our weekend getaway with Polaris Adventures. The resort is located just a short ride the expansive trail system, and down the road from tons of attractions. Our picture-perfect little cabin in the woods was a great base with parking for our Polaris RZR and nightly campfires!
Next time you are planning a trip take a look at the Polaris Adventures website and see if you can add one of their adventures to your itinerary, or better yet, plan your next trip around one of these adventures. Polaris Adventures has teamed up with hundreds of local Outfitters around the country to make finding an adventure easier than ever. There are destinations and experiences for all seasons and kinds of locations!

The soil and topography in this part of the state are somewhat unique, which offers an incredibly fun ride. This area was strongly influenced by the last Ice Age by the effects of glaciation.

When you are out riding, you are surrounded by nature. If you slow down your RZR for a little while, you might also notice some wildlife.
In 2015, there were some of the first elk reintroduced into Wisconsin in Black River State Forest. While the elk population is slowly building, you are more likely to see a black bear roaming the woods.

The main trails that run through Jackson and Clack county near Bear Bogging and Three Bears Resort are great for new riders with lots of easy, yet exciting ride options. Black River State Forest
One of our favorite sections of trails came in the beautiful Black River State Forest. This park is home to the Wild Cat Loop, where we spent carving up the corners and taking in the beauty of the treelined sandy track that wound through the forest. There were lots of great places we rode, but I think most of our favorite photos came from here.
