How to Get to Maquinit Hot Spring
The Maquinit Hot Springs is located on the southern coast of Busuanga Island. From Coron Town, it’s about a 30-minute ride, so it’s relatively easy to reach. However, you should keep in mind that the drive to the hot springs is down a very rough and bumpy road, which could add a few extra minutes to your journey.
By Tricycle: Most tricycle rides will cost between 300-400 PHP for a round-trip. Your driver will wait for you while you visit the hot springs and return you to Coron Town once you’re finished.
Motorbike/Scooter: If you are comfortable driving a scooter, we recommend this option. A scooter gives you the most freedom while visiting Coron. However, the road to the Maquinit Hot Springs is rather bumpy once you get past the town. During the second half of the ride, the road is very rutted and will be slow and dusty. Also, if you plan on visiting for sunset, make sure your scooter has decent headlights for the ride back in the dark.
