Cheap and easy way to get to or from the Barcelona Airport BCN (Terminal 1 or 2) to Barcelona’s city center is on the AEROBUS.

How to get from Barcelona Airport BCN to Barcelona City Center

When landing in the airport look for signs to the AEROBÚS. We bought our tickets from a cashier at their window, there are self service machines, or you can purchase from the attendants outside that are directing the line & checking tickets. Please note tickets can be purchased with Euros only.

Buses leave every 10 minutes and the trip takes approximately 35 minutes. The Aerobus heads into Barelona’s City center (Pl. Catalunya), via Pl. España, Gran Via-Urgell, Pl. Universidad. Our hotel was 1 block away from where the bus stopped. Please make sure to know your stops, as the stop was not long if you didn’t ring the buzzer or appear to be getting off.

Make sure to hold onto your ticket, as the driver will ask to see it. Make note of what terminal your flight is flying out of, as there are buses for Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
